Burmese dancer

Burmese dancer, the design of the htainmathein and the white hip-length jacket that dancers today rarely wear indicates that the photo is probably 70s to 80s. In my personal view, I like the white hip-length jackets. It help neutralize the whole costume, also the htainmathein should always have a white tail at the end, but I noticed todays dance costume have a one whole color on the costume which is too bland. The white tail end compliment the htainmathein, simple but elegant.
